Palm Beach Summer Kick-Off

Exclusive Swim Party at Palm Beach at Moody Gardens for our 2026 Summer Reading Club participants! Children must be registered for the Summer Reading Club on Beanstack. Registration opens on Monday, May 4, and participants may start logging reading on Tuesday, May 26. Once registered, they may stop by the library to pick up the 2026 summer t-shirt, which must be worn to the kick-off party to gain free admittance for themselves and immediate family members.

This incredible event is due to the generosity of Moody Gardens, and we are grateful for their support and encouragement in promoting the library's literacy initiatives. We are fortunate to have the organization as part of our village. Please be respectful of this invitation and use it as an opportunity to get your kids excited about summer reading and fostering curiosity. Please leave Palm Beach as clean as you found it when we arrived - life jackets should be hung back up where they were picked up and all trash should go in receptacles. Take a look around and make sure you've gathered all your belongings.
