Join us for the 125th anniversary of the historic 1900 Storm - the deadliest natural disaster in U.S. history - for free showings of "The Great Storm" film, a narrated and musically accompanied movie production that highlights the devastation of the storm as well as Galveston's resilient recovery.  

Showings of the newly-remastered film will take place on the hour from 10 AM to 4 PM with enhanced sound and lighting in the library's Wortham Auditorium located on the first floor. The showings are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
