Fire Safety for Historic Buildings

This is a workshop sponsored by the Galveston Historical Foundation, the City of Galveston, and the Rosenberg Library. Chris Harrison, Fire Marshall with the Galveston Fire Department will provide a presentation on best practices for fire safety in historic structures. In addition, Catherine Gorman, the City of Galveston's Historic Preservation Officer, will present an overview of the permitting process for installing sprinkler systems in these properties.
